* FREE after camp care from 2-5PM (except on Fridays)
*Campers need to bring a sack lunch
PROGRAM
BAND REHEARSAL AND RECORDING STUDIO
Students will be divided by age and skill level into different bands. Each band will create their musical direction with their band director as they prepare to record a CD and play an end of camp concert.
SEMI PRIVATE LESSONS
Campers will be able to take private lessons (2-3 campers in each lesson) in drums, guitar, bass guitar, and keyboards. These lessons will be a time for campers to work on their band material as well as learn new skills on their instrument. Campers will take lessons on their primary instrument as well as an introductory lesson on each instrument taught at Rock School.
MUSIC APPRECIATION
Each day the group leader brings in recordings from different eras of Rock music to listen and discuss musical styles. The purpose of this activity is to encourage campers to develop a critical ear and to examine the musical development of Rock music throughout history.
WORKSHOPS
Campers will break off into small groups for workshops in Songwriting, percussion ensemble as well as jamming and improvisation

$10/$5 Materials fee: this includes Summer Camp t-shirt, earplugs, drum sticks, guitar strings, guitar picks and instrument rentals
*Camp tuition is due upon enrollment
* After you enroll you will receive an invoice via email. A 50% deposit is due upon receipt to guarantee your child’s’ placement.
