Programs and Costs

Rock School has two main programs; private lessons and performing/recording band.   Students have the option to participate in either program or both.  Rock School offers private lessons in guitar, piano, drums, bass guitar and voice. Students learn the basic musical skills in private lessons to prepare for placement in a band program. Private lessons take on a new tone once a student is placed in band. Private instructors help their students on their band material as well as their improvisational skills which are essential for playing in a rock band. Students continue working out of the school’s method books which will ultimately help them test into the next level band. It is recommended that students participate in both band and private music essons to ensure a well rounded music education.

Costs (Reduced Band Rates for Summer)

Band and Private Lessons: $170/$165 (summer) monthly: Ages 9-18)

One and a half hour weekly band rehearsal

Band Only: $125  monthly (ages 9-18)

Private Lessons: $85 monthly (Ages 7-Adult)

Junior Rock Band : $130/$95 (ages 7-10)
$130/1 weekly hour band+30 minute weekly lesson

Annual Registration Fee:
$30 per student
$20 for a second family member
$15 for a third family member
Additional family members will not be charged.

Materials and Sheet Music: $8-$12

Family Discounts:
A 10% discount is offered to additional family members. This is only applicable to family members in the band program.

Early Payment Discount:
A 2% discount will be applied to all accounts paid in full before the start of a session.
