Dave Simon

Dave Simon has been teaching, playing, and writing music for over 20 years. He began teaching bass guitar while studying jazz at Webster University in St. Louis. He relocated to New York in the early 90s where he developed and implemented a musical curriculum emphasizing ear training and improvisation while expanding his teaching to guitar and piano. Dave has also worked in San Francisco, teaching song writing workshops  and rock ensemble instruction. Dave has played and written with some of the best-known St. Louis Rock bands, and has shared the stage with such groups as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Violent Femmes, Fishbone, and Toots and the Maytals.
